I was deeply encouraged by Lewis' cultural challenge on manhood and the rate at which civilization not only then but now has gone and is going in. This was my first C.S. Lewis book I've read, and I was not disappointed. It was a little hard to follow at parts, but overall it is a great challenge for me as a man, husband, and future father one day.
